a friend of mine, debbie, who is visiting in town from denver brought her cutie-pie son over for some shots this afternoon…not everyone has to be in a good mood to look good!  and I think that’s the tallest clover I’ve ever seen.

pro-bono

As an advertising photographer its important to do pro-bono work every so often.  Its a reason to apply what you know for a good cause, or just any old cause that seems fun.  Or even just a reason to shoot something cool and I’m always up for shooting something cool.  Today that took my team and I to jail…fortunately they did let us out afterwards.  I can’t share the copy just yet, but here’s the start to an interesting ad:

portraits

March 6, 2009 | Filed Under blatherings | 3 Comments

I guess some of you have heard that advertising is a bit slow these days.  I can only work on new images for my portfolio so much, and my clients are getting tired of me harassing them for work.  As some of you know I’ll be launching into a new back-burner venture soon, and this afternoon I got the chance to have some fun and play around with making portraits.  Its seems very pure to make a photograph who’s sole purpose is to try to represent someone’s spirit and I look forward to the challenge of more of these kinds of shoots.
