oakleaf hydrangea

I’ve finally had the time to shoot a few images, trying to capture what it feels like to be in my garden. As with most things I photograph, taking the feeling of a 3 dimensional space and compressing it into a still photograph is often my goal. this is our oakleaf hydrangea, with a glimpse of the hooty the plastic owl that keeps the birds company, shot on the leica M9 with 5cm leitz xenon f1.2.
