I capture the spirit of life with an eye for style. Striving to create images that can stand outside the advertising context, with a nod to photojournalism, and street photography, I work towards a storytelling vignette, trusting collaboration, invention, and a dose of serendipity to help the viewer discover emotion and energy.
Scott Lowden is a photographer making commercial and fine art work. As a habitual traveler, Lowden imbues his photographs with a sense of place. His photography has been recognized through numerous awards, has presented his work in solo and group exhibitions, and self-published several books and mail art projects. With more than 20 years of experience he has shot campaigns for some of the world’s most recognizable brands. His career launched with a focus in still-life, after which he dedicated several years to directing and creating festival-worthy short films. Today Scott combines all these varied experiences to bring his characteristic cinematic approach to lifestyle photography. Scott’s work takes him everywhere, but currently calls Atlanta his home, and Wendy and Zoe are his people. Two- and four- legged, respectively. It’s often when he’s on a break from commissioned projects that he gravitates towards a more documentary and immersive flow. He is represented by Randy Cole Represents (www.randycole.com).
